Legacy of Anthony F. Garfias
Our Organization was established May of 2020 do to the gap we saw in the Mental Health Industry when one of our sons needed help. Seeing this demand our Non-profit was built in the legacy of Anthony F. Garfias empowering people to SPEAKOUT and SPEAKUP about Mental Health and Suicide awareness.
We provide services in these areas but also providing housing grants, employment/Trade connections, Substance abuse prevention, Adult/Youth Mental Health First aid, Narcan Training and supplies, Street outreach.

I have a deep passion for working in community services. My personal experiences have fostered a strong sense of compassion and understanding for others. I find great satisfaction in advocating for individuals and supporting their needs, as it provides me with a strong sense of purpose. A fun fact about me is that I love to play tennis!

One of the reasons, I came into social services was due to my own personal lived experience. To help others know that one can have a amazing life being addiction free and housed. I came to MHA Speakout Speakup organization because of their beliefs and values of treating all people with dignity and respect. A fun fact about me is I love the Winter.
