Legacy of Anthony F. Garfias

Our non-profit organization was founded in May 2020 in memory of Anthony F. Garfias, driven by a personal experience navigating the challenges of the mental health system when our son needed support.  Recognizing the urgent need for accessible resources, we're dedicated to empowering individuals to SPEAKOUT and SPEAKUP about mental health and suicide awareness.

We offer a range of services, including housing grants, employment and trade connections, substance abuse prevention programs, Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid training, Narcan training and supplies, and street outreach.

Organizations interested in partnering with us, or individuals seeking support, are encouraged to contact us at (509) 385-5286 with any questions.

 Alexis- FCS Housing/Employment Case worker:

I got into case management to give back what was so freely given to me. I was drawn to MHA specifically because of the compassion and humanness of the people working there. I like being outside with family on my time off.
